Insite’s Programmable Global Alert and Monitoring System can be set up to monitor virtually anything, making it a versatile choice for any kind of work that benefits from GPS technology and relies on data.  The system is easily adapted to a variety of tasks and can send text message updates and alerts directly to the user’s cell phone.

Insite’s monitoring system has a virtually endless list of applications that it can be used with.  Anything that can be measured can be used with Insite.  Use it to monitor temperatures, weights, voltages, pressures, liquid levels, switch states – you name it.  Because of the variety of data it can monitor, it is useful to a wide range of industries, from agriculture, to manufacturing, to construction, to the energy sector – even to food storage or data storage.  For non-professional applications, the system can be used for personal protection in the home or office, as a notification device when the internal security system has been set off or the power goes out – even if the temperature fluctuates dramatically.  Furthermore, it can be used to track moving vehicles, including boats or planes, and provide details on the vehicles’ whereabouts through Google Maps, including data on user assets and status.

At the heart of the system is the i2 base unit, that monitors temperatures, voltages, telemetry and switch states, and even has an optional GPS receiver.  Each device function can be programmed with up to four phone numbers, for a total of 92 phone numbers per Insite unit.  The device also comes complete with six remote output channels, that can be adapted with optional extra sensors.  The sensors include: an infrared motion sensor, a magnetic door sensor, a wind speed and storm sensor, and a flood and spill sensor.  Sensors can also be purchased in bundles, specifically tailors to their application, i.e., for the home, or for tower lighting applications.  The i2 is not reliant on land lines, and can therefore be installed in remote locations and draw on battery power or solar panels.

Depending on your area, the Insite device can also be used to send email updates.  Use requires a cell phone and Simcard.
